Phonetography

Shot these in and around New York.

Verrazano Bridge

These were shot on a very strange, foggy afternoon shortly before I left for Los Angeles on my weekly ride down the Southern Coast of Brooklyn. Riding through the fog always puts me in a Murakami-esque state of mind and this was no different.

Clean Laundry

Nothing like clean laundry to really set you straight. The color contrasts in this particular lavanderia was kind of playing on my side. Los Angeles doesn’t play when it comes to places of wash. The car wash and laundromat game is TIGHT. Talkin’ bout you know at least one Korean/Mexican friend’s Uncle is a smart man.

Beach Frontin’ Stay Coastin

Ken from The Lab warehouse was visiting Sunny Southern California last week and we managed to sneak away for one day to the beach, bikes and all. My first time EVER at a West Coast beach and I have to say, shit is radical. We couldn’t figure out which beach to hit up, so in honor of both of us having New York in our blood what better than Manhattan Beach?

Everytime I am near the water I know I am close to home. I just need to find a poor country that will allow me to live on the coast.

Walk LA

I have been extremely hesitant on posting any photos on Tumblr for months now and still feel a little reserved about it. Ultimately, the rate of consumption is overtaking the rate of appreciation. Being connected no longer means that.

This is LA. My phone captured all of these images. I am just a vehicle of consumption.

More shots from my Thanksgiving day ride. The framing is better on the pier shot than the last one I posted.

Chuuuurch

I love old churches. This one is at the bottom of Sunset Park on 5th ave. Gigantic and very beautiful.
