Verrazano Bridge
These were shot on a very strange, foggy afternoon shortly before I left for Los Angeles on my weekly ride down the Southern Coast of Brooklyn. Riding through the fog always puts me in a Murakami-esque state of mind and this was no different.
Thanksgiving Day Ride
Decided to take a stroll South during Thanksgiving day. I was home alone. The weather was perfect. Why not?
Verrazano Bridge
I have been doing a small 20 mile loop the last two weeks from my hood in Sunset Park down to Coney Island and back more or less. The ride is pretty easy and flat (it’s New York), but some of the views are just amazing. I am sure I have mentioned it before, but I think I feel most comfortable when next to the water. I learned this while in Japan last year. This bike loop takes me along the coast of Brooklyn for miles and it feels great.
I shot this on my most recent ride.
With some deeper thoughts I have not come to any conclusion of my obsession with living near the water, but I also have a large fascination with bridges. Thinking more and more about it there is a link between the two, but more importantly on a personal note the act of a bridge is to connect two places and allow access from A to B. It seems like most of my DJ life revolved around such things.
To learn more about this beautiful bridge, you must learn.
