Mad Decent doesn’t need any help from my little blog to push their label, but I like Paul Devro and his musical taste a whole bunch. Not too exploitive like that other guy (not naming names) and always a solid DJ (again, not naming names).
In the latest Pomp & Clout volume, Paul Devro takes us to the discos of Bollywood. Some of you may be familiar with the MIA cover of Parvati Khan’s Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Aaja taken from the 1982 Bollywood film Disco Dancer. I use this as the closest reference to give you the feel of this mix. I don’t know what it is about foreign music that gets me so excited. Escapism? Romanticism? Regardless of what it is, this music comes from the soul and I always appreciate that.

My homie MWG just showed me this. These were shot while the other dude Duey FM of Mad Decent was in San Antonio to shoot Mexicans With Guns new video. Good looks on both ends and I am curious to see the outcome.
