A beautiful album from the mysterious Jim Sullivan. Not to be confused with Big Jim Sullivan, you can learn more about the other worldly Sullivan here. This edit was done for fun and will more than likely not be available for download. I highly recommend his reissued album on Light In The Attic and to support their label in general as they are constantly releasing long lost classics.

Another intro/outro edit. The beat is really hot and like I said before, the only reason I can co-sign these guys is the fact that they make music that is above 85 BPMs.
Also, I am sure someone will be jacking this whistle which is already a jack and making a Moombahton edit soon.

The Hombres should have been something more than they ultimately became. This being their hit was a grooving psych/pop record that was supposedly taking a jab at Dylan, but who really knows. It actually took me doing this edit to realize there was a full length release of the same name which I am dying to hear. If the rest of the album is anything like this, I think we should see some re-issue magic happen. As usual this edit is limited to 100 DLs so try and jump on it quickly!

I wasn’t planning on releasing this as there is not much to it, but I figured someone would appreciate it…. Right?
Jai Paul is XL Records most recent signing, but this song is not that recent of a recording. Apparently this was a 2007 demo that was remastered and issued by XL this year. I can’t wait to hear what Paul has in store for us and if this is that old can we get everything else he made back then already as well?
As always, these edits are limited to 100 DLs and that is it. You must learn.

I hope this doesn’t get me in trouble with my peers and with Ma Dukes. I did this specifically to further the growth of the dearly missed Jay Dee. I have been doing a ton of soul searching lately and trying to figure out where I stand with everything. DJing is so near and dear to me, but it has been washed down with so much stuff I can’t stand. I don’t want to sound like the Hip Hop purest dude that says we need to take what is rightfully ours back, but that is all I can think of when shit is as ill as it is. There can be more to music in the clubs than wildin’ out (and I completely understand the concept of needing a release from our troubled times). At some point you gotta be true to yourself and put all the kids stuff away.
As some of you have been scooping up my regular edit packs you already know these are strictly DJ edits, made in order for you to mix these in a little better. I didn’t add a House kick underneath them or make a Dutch Dilla track. These are my favorite SV tracks made for falling in love on the dance floor.

Finally putting my Letherette edit up for grabs via Soundcloud.
Letherette released their latest EP on Ho Tep Records late last year and I was immediately drawn to this tune as I am sure anyone who hears it would be. This appeals to fans of beats, Dilla, and good music.
As usual, the edit is limited to 100 DLs and will not be posted by me anywhere else. You must learn!

For those that follow my blog and might be in my DJ email list are familiar with my edit packs I started to send out a few weeks ago. This is the newest pack with my favorite tunes from the new T.I. album, No Mercy, made a little more DJ friendly.
I wasn’t planning on releasing a T.I. pack, but once I did the Lay Me Down edit I thought it would be fitting.
As usual, if you enjoy what you hear I recommend going to your LOCAL record shop and BUY it!

Made some simple intro, outro, and Chris Brownless edits of this Diplo + Afrojack produced tune. I am not gonna lie, I kind of like Chris Brown’s part. I mean, it’s definitely better than Drake if that means anything.
Anyway, hope these find a nice home in your digital crates, pod pods, and playlists.
