Plaster Peanuts
I caught this at the 9th and Smith stop on the F. To me it looks exactly like a Peanuts character. Pure incidental art by decaying plaster.
Nujabes
Here is a photo I took during my stay in Tokyo. This was taken the second night of the Nujabes tribute shows that were held this summer. The book is made up of photos that were shot from the night before and were only given to close friends and family.
It was a really beautiful night.
My Morning in 5 photos
This morning was set off early, by taking a mission North to retrieve my once brand new, then broken on it’s way home from Japan, now fully fixed Columbia GP-3. I was so mad at myself for effing it up on the way home from Japan, but thanks to Mr. Wizard for fixing it.
One - So Mr. Wizard’s has this incredibly small Handicap parking symbol that just looks oddly out of place.
Two - Since I was out there an hour before they opened I walked around the neighborhood a bit and caught this random photo of a ditch wall. Look closely.
Three - On the bus ride home, I couldn’t help but get really bothered by how rude people are. I saw/heard a lot of gross things and it just made me miss Japan a lot more. Pretty much ready to be out of this country for good. Speaking of country, ACC’s downtown campus was removing their American flags. I caught that one from the bus.
Four - Getting out of that bus as soon as I could and transferring downtown, I ran into this old man that was killing the game. It was a creeper photo, but how can you tell an old man you want to take his photo?
Five - We saw a little bit of rain coming back down South, but the walk home from my last bus stop was sunny and green. This house is one of my faves on the block. So not mad at it.
Pocket Digital Camera SQ30mm + Wide Angle/Macro Lens Mod
If you keep up with the Money Makin Mexicano, you would have read about my new camera I bought in Japan. This camera shoots like a Super 8, but is all digital and ridiculously portable.
When I first bought it, I immediately had the plan to mod the lens. After some internet research, I found a cheap yet effective option. USB Fever offers a lot of far out little gadgets for all things tech related.
The lens attaches magnetically via a metal circle adhered to the body of the camera. The magnet is very strong and there is little fear in losing/dropping the lens. The design of the lens is compact, but also packs a surprise macro lens option that is available when you remove the wide angle segment.
As far as I know, I am the first to do this with the Poke Digi or Digital Harinezumi.
Video and photos coming soon.
Record Land 45 Room, Calgary
This is the “small” room filled with nothing but 45s in the back corner of Record Land in Calgary. This room is hard to take in as there isn’t really an order to the records.

Record Land, Calgary
Record Land in Calgary is one of the great caches of records in North America. I can spend days in here and still not be ready to leave. This was taken on one of the quiet days with no one but myself doing some digging.

Shot this while walking to meet a friend in SF’s The Mission area.
